And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. (Colossians 1:17)
The material here was presented in the Sunday morning teen class of the Warner Robins Church of Christ from October 2017 to March 2018. What follows is a devotional survey of the “Big Picture of the Bible.” The goal was to present the single, overarching narrative of Scripture, so that we might remember that story, and so that we might disciple others. The following lessons can be viewed as individual blog posts, or in the embedded PDF below:
As with any Bible study tool, one should focus primarily on the words of Scripture themselves rather than what other people have to say about them. The general approach of this guide is therefore to watch a quick introductory video, pray, read a portion of Scripture, reflect on the meaning of the text, and discuss the same Three Big Questions from week to week. The best way to use this study is as a personal Bible study or a small group discussion with an experienced teacher. Aside for the first and last lessons (for which there are no slides) each lesson takes a week or two to teach. The slides you see unhidden are those I recommend using; other slides are hidden, but provide additional background information that you might find useful.
