The material here was presented in the Sunday morning teen class of the Warner Robins Church of Christ from October 2017 to March 2018. Our goal was to survey the “Big Picture” of the Bible—the single, overarching narrative of Scripture—in order to remember His story and to disciple others. The following lessons can be viewed as individual articles, or in the embedded PDF below:
As with any study tool, our focus should always be on the words of the Scriptures themselves rather than what others have to say about them. Our approach has been to watch a quick introductory video, pray, read a portion of Scripture, reflect on the meaning of the text, and discuss the same Big Questions from week to week.
The best way to use this study is for group discussions led by an experienced teacher, but it may also work as a personal Bible study. Aside from the first and last lessons (for which there are no slides) each lesson takes a week or two to teach. The slides you see unhidden are those I recommend using; other slides are hidden, but provide additional background information that you might find useful.
Since no man-made work is ever perfect, please let me know if you have any questions or comments. I’d also love to study this with you! In either case, reach out to me at www.inearthenvessels.com/contact.
