Triumphant (Ps. 118)

This is the last class in our new series walking through the thirteen Old Testament chapters most quoted in the New Testament.

As you get started…

+ PRAY for an open heart and mind (Eph. 1:15-19; 3:14-19).

+ READ the passage aloud, even if only to yourself (Luke 8:8; 9:44).

+ REFLECT on the passage, focusing on these questions:
​

• What does this say about Jesus (John 5:39)?
• What does this say about us (Rom. 15:4)?
• How are we called to live into this good news (Gal. 3:24)?

+ FOLLOW along with the audio, using our teaching outline as a guide:​​

1. Salvation (vv. 1, 5f, 10, 14-18; Ex 15:2, 6; Col 2:15; Heb 13:5f)
2. Proclamation (vv. 19-24; Acts 4:8-11; 1 Pet 2:4-10; 2 Cor 2:14)
3. Expectation (vv. 25-27; Num 6:24ff; Jn 12:12-16; Mt 23:37ff; 1 Th 4:16f)
